What is life without fulfilling relationships?
Well, here is my answer: pretty empty.
Knowing who your people, your friends, your supports are and utilizing them is an action that can add meaning and value to your life. I’m learning this one.
I feel thankful to have really rich relationships in my life, but sometimes it’s automatic for me to believe that I can figure things out all on my own. Sure, I probably can jimmy rig things and painfully figure things out solo style. Although, recently I’m concluding that life, experiences, tribulations, etc, are much less painful with the support and presence of a close support right by me.
If you got it use it, right?
Why do it alone if you have people in your life that want to support you and their support can really impact you for the positive? Yes, there is a time and place for a solo mission where it’s important for you to pick up your own boot straps and do it alone. Although, often, it’s about interacting and getting support from others. That will be your own individual decision to figure out when it’s time to join forces and get support from others and when it’s time to travel on your own.
Reach out to the people who you love and trust when you need it. I’m confident that you can do it alone, but sometimes you don’t have too. Perhaps bringing some of your people to the playing field can dramatically change the game and turn around a difficult experience into something joyful.
