Simply put, I do believe in divine timing.
When I reflect back to certain points of my life and consider what or who showed up, in retrospect the timing was “perfectly perfect.” Meaning that the person who showed up was an ideal “teacher” for the given phase of my life. That person’s involvement in my life helped me develop a skill, get past an old hurt or see a perspective that allowed me to grow and expand.
I believe that life presents ideal backdrops and scenes for our growth. Life casts the appropriate characters, at the appropriate time, for the play of our lives to unfold. The people and situations that come across our path are there for us to grow and learn from. Life is constantly pointing us toward situations to challenge our “stuff.” “Stuff” meaning negative ways of thinking, fears that are holding us back or false beliefs that are keeping us stuck. (Amongst any other road blocks specific to you.)
Bottom Line: Lessons that we need to experience present themselves in life so we have the opportunity to grow and learn. This describes, in my language, the grace and mystery of divine timing.
I’m a huge believer that our lives are happening for us not to us. This way of thinking helps me stay afloat when situations get challenging and leave me confused and unsettled. Believing that a negative situation is a learning opportunity helps me to “get through it.”
Timing in life is a real powerful thing. Trusting the divine timing of how events, life experiences and relationships show up, is a solid way to stay receptive to good things. After all, when we’re open and available, it allows us to be more aware of when a good thing is right in front of us. On the contrary, when we distrust the timing of how our life is playing out, we create blockage and suffering into our experience. This is because resisting “what is” will always leave us feeling some sort of low vibe emotion.
Trusting and believing that everything is showing up at the “right time” for you is a perspective that can allow you to have a sense of peace…….. even when what you want hasn’t shown up, yet, and is no where in sight. Trusting in divine timing can help alleviate a lot of anxiety and worry about the future.
Think about how past situations and significant people have entered your life so far. Can you see how the timing of their specific entrance helped to ignite a desire or flow within? Can you see how their presence carved the path for who or what came next? Did specific timing of events lead to a relationship, career opportunity, friendship or life change? When you can see how this divine timing has played out in your life, it allows you to TRUST more in your present.
It can be a pretty wild thing to think about how many small details make up the interception of so many opportunities, relationships and circumstances in life. The belief that there is something much bigger working for you in terms of how your life is playing out can lead you to a more peaceful now.
Why not believe this?
