There are some statements, things and people that we experience and soon forget about. There was nothing wrong with the experience or person, or perhaps there was, but for whatever reason, the experience just came and went. Then there are those gems that lurk around and won’t leave our brains: that moment when someone said something in the “right” way where it really resonated with you. A moment when you met someone and their presence and being really stood out to you. We all have those things that remain in our minds and have yet to go away. To those things I’m on board with the above quote:
“If it’s still in your mind, it is worth taking the risk.” -Paulo Coelho
What do you have to lose if you were to experiment and take action on the thoughts that you have that won’t go away? What are those thoughts for you? I don’t care if it sounds “stupid” or “unrealistic” or fill in the blank with any other word you want to use. Wonder if you were to stop and put some attention and action toward the “thought” that won’t go away. Perhaps it won’t go away for a reason, right?
It can be easy to put some thoughts that we have on the back burner because we feel they are not “important” or “relevant.” Sometimes the thoughts they we are blowing off are the exact thoughts that can lead to great things if we put attention to them. If you have dreams or visions of what you want in your life, perhaps your thoughts are speaking to you by not going away. They are working to get your attention so you can have want you want. Test this out for yourself.
If there is something that keeps on coming around for you in that mind of yours, go for it. Do it. Make it happen. Check it out. Maybe it can be mind blowing and bring to you what you’re looking for. It's worth the risk.
