So often in life an answer can appear out of nowhere. It can be an answer to a specific question that you have been searching for or it can be an answer that you didn’t even know you were looking for until it showed up. Either way, if you are alert and aware of your environment and what is going on around you, you will see the bread crumbs that life always offers to help guide you. Just for the record: the bread crumbs are always there.............Always.
Bread crumbs; meaning signs, a feeling, an intuition, a coincidence, a random happening, anything that is put in your path to direct you toward the next scene of your life. Follow the bread crumbs. Let them guide you. Investigate them. Be curious about them. If anything, you will learn and discover something new when you engage in curiosity and investigation.
Feeling stagnant and stuck, without any sense of direction to move in, feels beyond frustrating for me. One behavior that I notice that helps me to move through this stuck space is to stop trying to “fix” the situation. This often means that I need to stop forcing the situation to leave, get better or be gone. Many times, a situation needs to flow through it’s own process to be over, which means it’s not about me trying to control it. When I let go of control, usually I find that the situation then naturally dissipates and falls away. The hard part is trusting that the situation will resolve if I let go.
(Reminder: chances are it will. Positive things seem to follow the act of letting go.)
Simply excepting that I’m feeling stagnant is the exact point I need to get to in order to become unstuck. With acceptance I can hear the murmur of my inner voice or I become aware of a life experience happening around me that guides me in a new direction. Eventually, change is going to happen and the stuck situation will pass. This is fact. This can be helpful to remember when you are feeling caged up and stuck. Everything is temporary: pain, stagnation, bad moods, life experiences....fill in the blank. It’s absolutely temporary, as much as it’s easy to believe it’s not.
Follow the bread crumbs of your life. Follow the signs. Be aware of what is happening around you and to you. You have so many things, people and life circumstances that are there to direct you. Learn from them. Play with them. Follow them.
Follow the bread crumbs.
